This section describes the supported HA configurations: single data center and
multiple data centers.
Jive supports two types
of HA configurations:
- Local high-availability in a single data center
- This ensures availability in a single data center deployment through the use
of redundant and load-balanced nodes for the web application, cache,
document conversion, and databases.
- Geographically-distributed high-availability across multiple data
centers
- This ensures availability across multiple data centers in the event of a
disaster affecting the active datacenter through the use of redundant (but
not hot) nodes for the web application, cache, document conversion, and
databases.
